Start of a new week

Literacy consisted of all children writing a piece about something they had enjoyed doing during their summer holiday. This piece of writing will form a basic assessment so that they can all be set their individual writing targets. We also discussed how marking is done and how to use the marking to help improve future work. Those children who will be playing netball at The King's School on Friday had a practice session with Miss Paech to remind them of the rules of the game and brush up on their skills. We finally began our London topic, talking about the location of London as part of Great Britain, and Britain's geographical place in the world.  A good day for everyone, with much work completed!
