Visit from Chester Zoo

The children enjoyed a great session from the Chester Zoo Outreach service this morning. One of their rangers came, accompanied by a Madagascan hissing cockroach! Carrie excited them all by explaining a mixture of facts about the rainforests and their wildlife, as well as talking about the shocking rate at which rainforests are being destroyed.By the end of the session the children had gained a good understanding of how they can help to save the rainforests.
