Portrait drawing

Today's art lesson provided a challenge to all! After starting the term with our usual assessment of figure drawing, today we moved on to look at how to draw faces, in proportion and realistically. We looked at shapes of faces, proportion, symmetry and placement of facial features. Although some of the skills were difficult to master to begin with, by the end of the lesson we had all made good progress. Hopefully, in a couple of weeks we will have added some shading and be able to display the work.
